Methodology & sources

iepOS is in pre-pilot. Figures on this page are either (a) labeled product screenshots using sample district data, (b) design targets measured against in 2026 pilots, or (c) research benchmarksfrom third-party studies. We do not present projected or composite figures as measured product outcomes. Pilot results publish with each pilot’s completion.

Security & trust

Built for the people who sign the audit response.

Your district’s data security officer should be the easiest sign-off in the deal. We designed for that on day one.

FERPA-aligned by default

Role-based access, least-privilege by design. Student data never leaves your tenant boundary without explicit opt-in.

Every action logged

Immutable audit trail for AI drafts, human approvals, edits, and sends. Exportable for any review.

Read-only data sources

We connect to Canvas, Google Classroom, and SIS in read-only mode. No surprise writebacks. Ever.

Human approval gates

AI drafts. Humans decide. Nothing reaches a parent or a permanent record without a teacher click.

Pricing

One platform. Three ways to start.

Per-active-IEP pricing keeps the math obvious for special-ed directors. Volume discounts kick in at the district tier; Title VI-B and ESSER funds both qualify. Annual billing only — no quarterly invoices.

What people ask first

The questions you’d ask in the demo, answered.

Does the AI make decisions about students?

No. iepOS drafts notes, flags signals, and links evidence. Every artifact that touches a student record or a parent inbox requires explicit teacher approval. The audit trail records who approved what, when.

How does this fit our current stack?

We connect read-only to Canvas, Google Classroom, PowerSchool, and most major SIS / LMS platforms. Implementation is a roster sync and an SSO setup; most pilots are live inside two weeks.

What about FERPA, COPPA, and state-level requirements?

Role-based access, multi-tenant data isolation, and a full audit log are standard. We do not train foundation models on your students’ data.

Will teachers actually use it?

The product is built around the teacher's Friday workflow, not an admin checklist. Council for Exceptional Children workload research puts current IEP paperwork at 7–11 hours per week. That is the baseline our 2026 pilots are measuring time-savings against. Adoption and time-savings data will publish with pilot results.

What does it cost?

Tiered per active IEP, with district pricing that meets most ESSER-style budgets and Title VI-B set-asides. Pilot pricing available for the rest of FY26.
